PLAYERS GUIDELINES
BE A GOOD SPORT.
The aim of the game is to enjoy, feel good and improve your skills
DON’T SHOW OFF- Don’t always try to score the most points or goals.
TREAT ALL PLAYERS AS YOU WOULD LIKE TO BE TREATED.
Don’t bully or take unfair advantage of other players.
It isn’t whether you win or lose –
BUT HOW YOU PLAY THE GAME
Play for the ‘FUN OF IT’ NOT JUST TO PLEASE YOUR COACH OR PARENTS.
PLAY BY THE LAWS
NEVER ARGUE WITH THE OFFICIALS
Let your captain or coach ask any necessary questions.
CONTROL YOUR TEMPER – NO SHOUTING and avoid cheap shots.
Work equally hard for yourself and your team.
Your team’s performance will benefit – so will your own.
Co-operate with your coach, teammates, opponents and officials –
without them you do not have a game.
ALWAYS applaud the other team off the pitch.
Learn the laws of the game.
TRY – To attend training and matches when ever possible – don’t let your team down.
Take a shower after training and matches.
NEVER ridicule a teammate or opponent for making mistakes.
SPORTSMANSHIP AND FAIR PLAY
ARE NOT A SET OF RULES
THEY ARE A CODE OF LIVING
